SYDNEY MARKETS NEW TELEPHONE SYSTEM

From 11am on Thursday 20th June 2019 Sydney Markets will be moving to a new telephone system.

Based on user feedback, the new and improved system will deliver a better user experience for all users.

The changes to the new phone system are listed below but it is important to note that all Sydney Markets inbound telephone numbers remain the same including all numbers and extensions listed under the Sydney Markets Contacts section in the SML Traders App and online.

Market Trading Times

The first change you will notice when calling the Sydney Markets main number (02) 9325 6200 is that there will be an automated response indicating which Markets are presently open.
This feature has been implemented to capture the most commonly made request of callers into the Markets.

In Case of Emergency

Callers are then advised that if they are calling with an Emergency they should hang up and dial 000 immediately.

Dial for a Department

The final change allows callers to select which department they would like to contact via the options below:

  1. Security & Operations

  2. Site Services

  3. Property Sales, Transfers and enquiries

  4. Finance, Accounts and Billing

  5. Paddy’s Markets

  6. Media & Marketing
Or dial 0 for next available operator

Simply dial the number of the department you want to reach at anytime to skip ahead.

If a department is unattended or it is out of office hours when you call, you will be asked to leave a message for the department to return your call as soon as possible.

So, we can best direct your call please ensure you leave:

a) Your name or Business you are calling from
b) Person you are trying to reach, if known
c) Reason for your call and your return number

Alternatively, please send an email to the department you are trying to reach.
