FRUITS
The Mildura and Robinvale regions are harvesting premium-quality grapes, perfect for snacking, adding to salads and cheese platters, or packing in school lunch boxes for a naturally sweet treat. Most varieties are seedless, with exceptions like Muscats. Grapes are priced between $4-$20 per kilo.
Enjoy the crisp, juicy, and sweet flavour of freshly picked new-season apples from Batlow and Victoria—featuring varieties like Fuji, Mi, and Royal Gala, all available for just $3 to $8 per kilo. Add grated apple to a burger patty for sweetness and added texture. apple, carrot & pork burgers
Williams' pears are $3-$5 a kilo, depending on size. Naturally high in fibre and vitamin C, fresh pears support digestion and immune health. Enjoy them sliced in salads, poached for breakfast with yoghurt and muesli, or baked into cakes and crumbles. The Australian nashi season has also begun—these crisp, juicy fruits combine the crunch of an apple with the sweetness of a pear. Nashi are retailing for around $3-$3.50.
Late summer is the perfect time to enjoy plums at their peak. Eat them fresh, poach, stew, or microwave for a quick treat. Use plums in crumbles, tarts, and pies, or make a batch of homemade jam or chutney. Purée them for sweet or savoury sauces. Plums are $3-$15 a kilo, depending on the variety.
Mango season is wrapping up in the next 4-5 weeks, but late-season varieties are still available at your local greengrocer. These mangoes are exceptionally sweet and full of flavour—so don't miss out!

Grown in Australia Jujube fruit, also known as Chinese dates, are small, nutrient-rich fruits that offer a crisp, apple-like taste when fresh and a delightfully chewy texture when dried - you should definitely give them a try this week for $10-$30 a kilo. They are an emerging valuable crop being grown across South Australia, New South Wales, and Victoria.
VEGETABLES
With vibrant orange flesh and a creamy texture, kumara is a versatile ingredient, perfect for roasting, mashing, or adding to salads and couscous dishes. It pairs beautifully with fragrant spices like rosemary, cinnamon, chilli, ginger, coriander, and cumin. Medium to large kumara is priced at $2-$4 per kilo.
This week, let sweetcorn brighten your table with its natural goodness and endless meal possibilities. add corn to your shopping cart this week and experiment with our flavour toppers—Whether you stick with the classic garlic butter or get adventurous with the Mexican avocado & lime, or try making corn ribs, they are on trend at restaurants and so easy to make. Sweetcorn is available for $1-$1.50 a kilo.
Red capsicums are an excellent value this week at just $3-$7 per kilo—enjoy them raw in a crisp salad, roast them to intensify their natural sweetness, or stuff them with grains and herbs for a satisfying meal.

Visit your local florist or greengrocer to pick up a vibrant bunch of lisianthus, pineapple lilies, Siam tulips, sedum, beehive ginger, sunflowers, kale, roses, chrysanthemums, hanging amaranth, tulips, bachelor buttons, snowberries, asters, veronica, Queen Anne’s lace, or tiger lilies. Late-season hydrangeas are also still available, adding to the colourful selection.
