Enjoy in the luscious sweetness of red-fleshed papaya this week for just $2-$6 per kilo! For an extra burst of flavour, drizzle with fresh lime juice. Papaya is packed with vitamin C, antioxidants, and digestive enzymes. It supports immunity, heart health, digestion, and eye health while reducing inflammation.

New-season apples are crunchy and sweet. It's time to enjoy Royal Gala, Mi, Sassy, Delicious and Fuji apples, but remember to store them in the refrigerator at this time of year to maintain their maximum crunch. New season apples range from $3-$8 a kilo.

Sweet and juicy figs are in season, priced at $1-$3 each. For a savoury twist, pair them with rocket, toasted walnuts, fresh burrata, and a drizzle of olive oil and sherry vinegar. Or, for a touch of indulgence, bake them into a delicious clafoutis.

Tasmanian grown Zara strawberries (Driscol brand) are beautifully coloured, heart-shaped, and fragrant, offering a sweetness that's about 30% higher than other varieties. Premium Zara strawberries come in yellow punnets, priced around $5-$6, while most other strawberries varieties are available for $3-$5 per punnet.

Autumn limes are versatile and great value, perfect for adding a zesty kick to everything from drinks to dishes, and priced to fit any budget. Limes are $3-$6 a kilo. Use lime to make this easy and super tasty and tangy lime curd.

With an abundance of white, red, and black grape varieties in season, now is the perfect time to enjoy them, with prices ranging from $4 to $20 per kilo. Roasting grapes intensifies their natural sweetness, creating a syrupy, irresistibly delicious treat—perfect for topping tarts, cheesecakes, or even a scoop of ice cream. They also add a delightful burst of sweetness to bitter-leaf salads, balancing the flavours beautifully.

Indulge in the sweet, juicy flavour of Williams' pears, now available at a fantastic price of $3-$4 per kilo. Choose firm, mature pears, as they continue to ripen after harvest. For the best taste, let them soften at room temperature. If you're planning to poach or roast them, firmer pears will hold their shape beautifully, delivering the perfect texture.

With their vibrant red or yellow flesh, plums add a burst of sweetness and colour to any dish. Slice them into salads for a fresh twist, roast them with pork belly for a rich, caramelised flavour, or bake them into pastries and cakes for a delicious treat. Available in a variety of types, plums can be found at your local greengrocer for $3-$13 per kilo.

Golden Queen peaches, with their vibrant golden skin and sweet, juicy flesh, are at their best right now—but only for a short time! Don't miss out on their delicious flavour. Caramelise them on the grill and serve with yoghurt or ice cream. Grab a kilo this week for $4-$10 a kilo depending on quality and size.
