FRUITS

Bring a zesty citrus twist to your autumn dishes with Australian lemons and limes! Lemon supplies have increased, and prices have dropped, making them even easier to enjoy. Grab lemons for $3-$10 per kilo, while limes are available for $3-$10 per kilo or 40¢-$1 each, less if they are smaller sized.
Australians can't get enough of crisp, juicy apples—with 89% of households picking up a fresh supply each shopping trip! New-season varieties, including Royal Gala, Kanzi, Jazz, Fuji, Red Delicious, Mi, and Golden Delicious. are here. Prices range from $3-$10 per kilo, depending on variety and size.
Love pears? These fibre-packed, budget-friendly favourites are great for snacking, salads, or baking into a comforting dessert. Choose from Williams, Packham, Beurre Bosc, and Corella pears, all priced between $3 and $8 per kilo. Why not try a pear, date, and chocolate crumble for something extra special?
Custard apples are back! Choose firm, well-shaped fruit with dull green skin, then let them ripen at room temperature for 2-3 days until they yield to gentle pressure. Their creamy sweetness pairs beautifully with passionfruit, oranges, pineapples, and kiwifruit.

Prices range from $4-$12 per kilo, with some premium varieties reaching up to $20 per kilo. This week look for bargains on Autumn Crisp and Sweet Globe varieties. You also find value for money on Crimson and Thompson Seedless varieties.
Feijoa season is fleeting, so now's the perfect time to enjoy this green-skinned, oval-shaped fruit! With a sweet, aromatic flavour that blends guava and pineapple, feijoas are a true seasonal delight. Find them at your local greengrocer for $3-$5 each.
VEGETABLES
With its vibrant orange flesh and rich, creamy texture, kumara is a versatile favourite! New-season chestnuts from Victoria have arrived! Roast them for a warm, nutty treat or add them to your favourite autumn recipes. Large chestnuts are $5-$15per kilo.
Love green beans? Whether machine-harvested or hand-picked, they make a fresh and crunchy addition to any meal. A kilo bag of machine-harvested green beans costs $4-$5 (that's cheaper than the same time last year), while hand-harvested beans are $10-$16 per kilo.
