STANDS
GROWERS / FLOWERS

Grower/Flower stands can either be purchased directly from a
current Standholder or from Sydney Markets Limited if the
stand is vacant.

Stands for sale are advertised on the eastern end of Building
F for the Flower Market and on the western end of Building D
for the Growers Market. Details of vacant Grower/Flower stands
for sale can be obtained from the Sydney Markets Limited
Property Officer.

Once a Grower/Flower stand sale has been negotiated,
application forms for the transfer and all other information
in regards to occupying a Grower/Flower stand are available
from the Sydney Markets Limited Property Officer.

A permanent cardholder must be a bona fide grower. A copy of a
rates notice if you are a farm owner of a copy of a lease if
you are leasing a farm must be provided together with the
application forms.

Sydney Markets Limited provides casual cards for growers to
occupy a Grower/Flower stand to sell fresh produce/flowers on
a casual basis.

Application forms for a casual card are available from the
Sydney Markets Limited Property Officer.

A casual cardholder must be a bona fide grower. A copy of a

Once the documentation has been provided a casual card is
given to the applicant on payment of a fee.

The card number is a priority number. The casual cardholder
has the right to attend the market and occupy a stand if the
usual standholder is away. A fee for this right is payable.

Casual cardholders must attend the market 10 times in a three
month period. Sydney Markets Limited monitors casual
cardholders attendances.
